“What is the Baptism of The Holy Spirit”
“How, much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”
As, I mentioned on the second part of the “Holy Spirit” there has been many who have tried to receive this gift at an altar call at their churches, but they have failed to receive it. Just as myself, there are many times, I feel as if I have failed God somehow and maybe I have forgotten to ask for forgiveness for something, because the feeling just wasn’t there.
There are millions of people who come to Christ and have this over-joying inside, and I always wonder where is that feeling inside me, I don’t feel like that, why is my feelings different? They then walk away thinking that maybe there was something wrong with them or they were not worthy enough to receive this gift from the Lord.
As, I still feel to this very day after, so many years of being a Christian and not feeling that over-joyed peaceful, energizing feeling that “God has forgiven me of all my sins, and have excepted me into His kingdom.”
One thing which, I will admit that stops me, from just opening up my mouth and start speaking in the “Heavenly Language” is that I am afraid that I am thinking I have it or the Lord is speaking to me, but what if I am just imagining that I have the “heavenly language” or what if I am saying something in a different language and I am speaking the wrong words through a language I simply do not know what I am saying…. I Love the Lord Jesus, and I am NOT perfect, but we are to strive to be, and God wants us all to be written down in the book of life, but what if I am doing it wrong or what if, I have said something in this “Heavenly Language” which I oh so much wish to have.
The Heavenly Language, is an awesome language which only “God” himself knows and understands, the devil has no earthly idea of what you are saying. And, this is so much what I want in my life, I get so tired of the devil, always understanding my prayers, and using my prayers against me and fighting me on what I need the Lord Jesus to do in my life or other’s.
So, I always pray silently through my heart through my mind, because I do not want the devil to hear me….. so these pages on “The Holy Spirit” will also help you to better understand what the “Holy Spirit” is and “How God Gives it to us” and “How We can receive The Holy Spirit.”
To really receive this gift the first time we try asking we need to be pressing in for it, but when asking we all need to know just how and what we are asking for. What we are going to be receiving, and that we have to properly prepare ourself to receive it. Once these two things have been properly done, it then becomes easy to receive this gift the first time we ask we need to press in for it.
