What is a False Prophet

In religion, a false prophet is one who falsely claims the gift of prophecy or divine inspiration, or who uses that gift for evil ends.False Prophets

What is a False Prophet?

There are so many people who are calling the true prophets, false prophets just because God allowed them to prosper and His blessings have poured over their lives.

If, people would read the scriptures as they should they would know what the Bible says, about those in which follow the Law and Commandments of God. I did a piece on prosperity while back and I want people to know , they need to READ THEIR BIBLES, to find out what a true “False Prophet” really is.

Some accuse many ministers, and preachers all around the world “false” just because God allowed them to prosper, they accuse them of not giving to the poor, and not helping the needy etc. when they are not even around those preachers and ministers.

In religion, a false prophet is one who falsely claims the gift of prophecy or divine inspiration, or who uses that gift for evil ends.

I have listed, several traits of the false prophets, and in hopes you will know just what a false prophet really is, and not accuse or judge those which are not.

Their Traits

  1. False Perfection

  2. False Authority

  3. False Love

  4. False Hope

  5. False Gospel

  6. False Healing

  7. False Beliefs

  8. False Truths

  9. False Praises

  10. False Trusts

  11. False Wisdom

Some call “God Fearing Ministers / Preachers” false prophets because they ask for tithes, this is not called a “false prophet” we are to give tithes and offerings. Read this :

Tithes And Offering

2 Corinthians 9:7 ESV  –– Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Malachi 3:10 ESV  –– Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

Proverbs 11:24 ESV  –– One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

Mark 12:41-44 ESV  –– And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

Luke 6:38 ESV  –– Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ESV  –– The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Proverbs 3:9 ESV  –– Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce;

Malachi 3:8-10 ESV  –– Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

Proverbs 3:9-10 ESV  –– Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.

We all should know this, but here it is for you or someone you need to tell it to!

Matthew 7:15-20 –– 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 12:37 –– King James Version (KJV)

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Matthew 24:11 – 13 –– 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
