Let’s take a look at what “Persistent” actually means for those who are not sure, many do know but just in case!

: continuing to do something or to try to do something even though it is difficult or other people want you to stop

: continuing beyond the usual, expected, or normal time : not stopping or going away

constant, continuous, continuing, continual, nonstop, never-ending, steady, uninterrupted, unbroken, interminable, incessant, unceasing, endless, unending, perpetual, unremitting, unrelenting, relentless, unrelieved, sustained

There are many times we read or hear others say: “Pray keep praying until you see the breakthrough” or, “If you pray more than once for something then you don’t believe you get it already”. Some people say make strict rules and pray about the same thing until you get it.

Myself, never heard of making rules to pray we usually pray for what we need from our hearts. Never had I in all my years know there was a rule in praying.

I have heard of guidelines, which we can go by that help us in confidence in our prayer power.

When we pray we pray with thanksgiving and we seek God’s kingdom, and we let him know we trust in Him whole heartedly not a little but fully!

If you pray with faith, and then in an hour you saying you don’t think so or I doubt it, you have no faith where is it, you have no faith where is it. We are to give God something to work with – Faith!

I have heard people many times want God to heal them, but instead of truly believing in him and having trust and faith they say: I am going to be this way all my life, I’ll always be way I am.

Again where is the Faith and trust in your heart, your prayers?

Here’s the scoop!

Many want to pray to be healed, or many use their health issues as a crutch for not doing something you are truly able to do, but you seek God’s grace to be healed and you ask for prayers but…… you doubt in your mind or heart of being healed.

Prayer is a special thing believers in Jesus need to do all the times, throughout the day, but we need to keep in faith, trust, believe God has heard us and He will deliver us of what we have prayed for.

When we feel the need in our hearts to pray again about healing, healing of others or another matter pray about it again, but try to refrain from saying the same thing, because God/ Jesus heard you the first time, God will honor our faith, persistence thanking him for healing us and answering us.

Matthew 7:7
Jesus tells us to keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep in knocking. Be persistent, not repetitious in prayer. Keep pressing in and do not loose faith and trust in God keep expressing your faith and gratitude for Him answering you.
