Don’t Like Hard Work
Don’t Like Hard Work?
Ezra 6:14-15
In this day with the technology, we all have to adjust to the newest ways of doing things and learning of this new technology. Nowadays, all we have to do is slide this screen this way, and slide this screen that way, touch to open this program or that program, push this button to do this, push this button to do that, to get here or there, simple and easy right?
Not so fast, you enjoy this simple life that it has become, no hard work at all whatsoever. You may say – “Yep” but it takes no work, nothing hard, anyway. How is there any efforts put into pressing or sliding of a button or screen?
Effortless –– effort, nice right, WRONG!
God, made us to work, and to put efforts in what He wants us to do what He created us to be.
But, if we didn’t work at something – to get the blood flowing, muscles moving it would kill us allot faster by not working and doing something faster than without the easy way out.
We were created to make effort, we were created for work, participation’s and being involved in the good things, even in struggles we end up having in our lives.
We have to put effort in all we do, we are not to be lazy. We are not created to struggle with everything, but we are not supposed to be the kind of people who are always taking the easy ways out neither.
If, reading Ezra, people accomplished with the hard work they rebuilt God’s Temple, and it was beautiful they restored it , to worship the Lord, their God in Jerusalem.
Ezra 6:14-15, 8:21-23
We all need the Lord’s help, not just to help us work hard in what He wants us to do, but to need Him, we all Need Him.
We are to humble ourselves and be dependent on Him to help us, and believe and to trust in Him.
