“Help Widows, Orphans, Aliens, and the Oppressed”
This is one area which “GOD” expects us to reach out and help. It doesn’t matter who, where, or what country you are from…. we are to help the poor and the ones who are not able to provide for their families.
My husband, he is against this, because some organizations do not do what they say they will with the funds. He has a strict belief in not helping, there are times I do this behind his back, and that is wrong of me because I am to honor my husband.
I have listed some verses where GOD says we are to help, so please if you know of any places which DO for sure, take the funds and give them to help the elderly, poor families and children, please let me know and I will list them on a separate page!

The Bible teaches that Christians should care for the poor, so what can you do?
Feed the poor
There are several ways you can help the poor they are listed below!
- Contribute to a food relief organization
- Volunteer to help in a community program
- Work through your church to develop a project to help the needy
- Consider giving extra tithe to help ministries that assist the poor
- Secure justice for the poor
- Help widows, orphans, aliens, and the oppressed
- Help agencies that work for housing, education, and job opportunities for needy people
Other things we can do to, insure that The Poor is Helped and taken care of!
- Uphold the cause of the poor
- Stand against oppression
- Intercede for even one person
- Write to Christian missions and encourage them to support the cause of the poor
- Tell your deacons that you will help a poor person under their supervision
