Worship God – No Matter Where You May Be

2 Samuel 16:14-16

David’s wife didn’t approve of how her husband was praising and worshiping God. She was embarrassed of how he was displaying his praise. 2 Samuel 16:14 David danced before the Lord with all his might, clad in a linen ephod (a priests upper garments.)

King David, danced and he worshiped God in all kinds of ways he could, he didn’t care of what other’s thought of him, he didn’t care of what his wife thought, because he was worshiping God the Father.

King David’s, wife was so embarrassed she despised him for how he was worshiping and displaying his praise to God. 2 Samuel 6:21-23, David tells her that he will continue to worship even more fervently and boldly than before.

I myself, used to be scared to worship God openly I wanted to worship and give praise to God in my private space. But, after I learned that if we are ashamed of God then he will be ashamed of me before His father and that’s one thing I surely wasn’t, was being ashamed of God. So, I started to praise and say Amen, Thank You Jesus, out loud in church more than before, raising my hands, etc.

Never be afraid or allow anyone to make you feel embarrassed to give Praise to God, the Lord Almighty, always no matter what people may think of you, or how they look at you or say about you.

God, is yours and we are His, we all need to follow King David’s example and give God the Praise no matter where we are or may be or how we are dressed, or what other’s may think of us!
