“Being First Place”
Matthew 6:33
Teaches us to keep the main thing, our main priority in our lives. We have to keep our priorities in the right manners.
In this world the way it is, phones ringing, people knocking on doors, people wanting this, wanting that, kids, appts, all this hits before you can even get out of bed good with a cup of coffee.
Allot of people we come across just do not get it, some think oh, I just get to get this done, that done and they forget “Main Thing” God.
What may be important to us at the time, is not as important to God.
God wants us to have the desires of our hearts, he truly does, he wants us to have nice clothes, cars, furniture, houses, etc. But, are you putting God first in your lives.
Seek – means to pursue, look for, to crave, to go after. We are to seek God and his kingdom first, not second, third, or fourth. FIRST!
When we put God first in our lives and keep him there, seeking to do the things His way, we are showing that we delight in Him, and we truly love Him. Then He will give us the desires of our hearts. Psalms 37:4
