The Devil Keeps Us Busy
The Devil Keeps Us Busy
Matthew 7:3-5
We all know what satans motives are, how he can trap us. He is always putting thoughts into our minds and he rips out our hearts, causing wrath and hate, criticizing others.
That we are always being busy worrying about others and how they act, talk, dress, how big they are, what shoes they are wearing, how their hair is fixed, how they walk, stand, how much they eat, who they are married to or who they are not, we worry about whether they go to church or if they don’t, they are so many things that the devil slaps in our minds, dreams to get us off track where we cannot focus on God and his goodness, his love, mercy, grace.
He puts all this in front of us, so we can’t focus on what is actually wrong with ourselves, our short comings.
We are being deceived when we focus our thoughts and short coming, our conversations on others how they act, talk, live when we need to focus on how we act.
Jesus commanded that we not concern ourselves with the wrongs of others, when we have so much wrong with ourselves. The devil uses us to show his hate, selfishness, his wrong doings to keep us down and away from our true destiny JESUS CHRIST.
We can’t change others God can. We can’t change ourselves either but we can cooperate with the Holy Spirit and allow Him to do the work in us, for us. Allow God to deal with you first, then you will be able to humbly, lovingly, help others.
