Revelation 12:10, tells us that Satan is called “the accuser of our brethren.” He tries and tries to make us feel guilty all the time for things which we have done in our past.

I am a witness to this, no matter how many times I beg God to forgive me for al the things I have done in my life, things I may have said, because of being mad or angry then, I always feel so unhappy, sad, depressed, because the devil put this guilt trip on me all the time.

To this very day, I struggle with this and I find myself, constantly asking the Lord to please forgive me, even for things I have already had asked Him to forgive me for. For, some reason it may cause me to mope and just plain depressed, and I go over things and keep on asking the Lord to forgive me please, for the same things over and over again, trying to think what it is that I have forgotten.

The devil makes us feel so worthless, and he gives us every excuse he can give us in our minds to keep us lingering into our past’s and causes us to keep our eyes off the main prize “Jesus.” He knows that our weakest areas and he will keep on making us feel guilty of our past sins and mistakes we have made in our lives, to keep us in his trap.

The devil makes us feel unhealthy, full of guilt and condemnation, but we have to remember even myself that GOD does NOT make us feel this way.

God wants us to experience His Love, His Total Complete Forgiveness, and His Power of that Forgiveness!

Guilt depresses us, it makes us feel as if we are under a very heavy burden. Jesus came to lift us up, not to bring us down, He came to bring us Good News to us that Our SINS are and have been forgiven and the penalty for them has been removed.

Resist the guilt and condemnation by grasping the salvation and the Authority of Jesus Christ in each and every day of your life. Ask God to help you and He surely will!!!!
