What Do You Want God To Do For You?

Remember, reading about Solomon, when God asked him, what he wanted Him to do for him? 1 Kings 3:5-10

 Have you ever felt like God was asking you this question? He wants to give us our desires of our hearts, but are you really asking for the right things?

 Solomon, was really reasonable in his request, he wasn’t selfish in his plea or requests. God, wanted to please him and give him what he wanted. As, we read 1 Kings 3, we see how much Solomon loved God, and his will to do His will.

 Solomon asked for, a understanding mind and a hearing heart to be able to judge the people, so He can decern between good and evil. He could’ve asked for selfish things like, riches, gold, material things, but Solomon didn’t ask for those things. Solomon, we can learn from because he wasn’t selfish in his request, He asked for understanding and wisdom.

 When God was asked for the desires of your heart, do not be selfish –– ask God to give you what you need and not what you don’t, and do not ask in selfishness.

 God loves us all and He wants us to have our needs and desires, but never ask in selfishness!!!!
