Acts 1:8

The power of the Holy Spirit enables us to be what God wants us to be. It states that people receive the power to be “witnesses, not power to do”, the witnessing.

God wants us to become what He has his mind for us and then, out of who we are, we will begin to do what He wants us to do.

We can’t just give certain are as of our hearts, we must give our whole heart to let the spirit come into each room. We must invite the Holy Spirit of God into our whole being. Not just certain areas, that we have reserved for our own purpose. It’s like limiting what you want God to do in our lives, get rid of the limitations, get rid of the hatefulness, bitterness, the attitudes, bad thoughts .

Let God have full control not just a tid bit.

The disciples of Christ went into the upper room with a mind sit which said, We are not coming out of here until God shows up.” They didn’t wait 10 minutes and leave nor 2 days and leave. They waited, waited until God showed up with His power.

There are so many people and I know several who say and ask when, and they demand answers right then, or they give up. I had to earn patience the hard way, and when I did everything had a different meaning and outlook. God didn’t say he wouldn’t answer our prayers, He said, he would answer our desires of our hearts, our needs. God works in His timing not our own. That’s how our lives get so messed up and torn apart because everyone demands either their own way or else, or they get tired of waiting and they end up making a mess out of their lives, then they make wrong choices, then they wonder why God, why did this happen, why am I going through all this.

Stop: think: Did you give up and not wait for the good answer? “Did you just go ahead and do what you wanted to your way.”

I used to think I did, and I went through all kinds of pains, bad choices, etc, and I had to learn to remember what my parents taught me and what the Lord said about it.

Once, I did things started changing for me and my life.

Wait on God to be the ultimate decision makes, you will be happier and at more peace!
God needs you as you kind God. You can’t do it by yourself making your own choices, decisions.
