Joshua 1:8, let’s us know that spending time with God and His word is important and we should meditate on His word day and night. Why? Because it pushes back the evil thoughts and lies the devil puts in our minds and tries to keep us off track, by keeping our eyes off God.

The devil does this to me allot, especially when he knows I’m praying or trying to go to sleep, and when I am wanting so much to go to church, he causes all these thoughts to bombard my brain and it stops me from getting to sleep at night, so I am up till weee hours in the night n morning.

And, what would be bad, I would be dead tired and knowing I could just sleep, not when the devil has his way….. keeps me up most of the time and causing me to want to sleep during the day, and messes me all up sometimes.

The devil is a big outrageous liar……..without God’s word we all would be in such a huge mess. My only problem is I have a hard time most of the time remembering all I read, and where I read it, I don’t know why this is, but I know I can always look it up if I need to.

The Bible says, if we want wise answers to our problems and to be a successfully prosperous, we need to read and meditate on the Word of God! By, doing this we push the devil back and he leaves us be, because he knows the WORD OF GOD is powerful and he can’t touch that.

It’s FULL OF TRUTH, Peace, Freedom, and Victory, and Love from God!

The BIBLE is the Truth of God and we need that in our lives and in our hearts and minds!
