Why I Write<\/p>\n
Well, many of you have
\nWondered, this I know
\nWhy my writings always
\nSeem to come from a
\nlonely soul
\nPlease just wait, I’ll elucidate,
\nThere’s good reason why
\nI create this way
\nI write for the vets now left behind;
\nBy a system designed to
\nPut them out of sight and mind.
\nOnce they stood up, answered
\nDuty’s call, knowing full well
\nThey might be the next to fall.
\nI write for police officers Gunned down in our
\nstreets
\nWho gave their lives upholding
\nthe law as their keep.
\nOur police are men, women,
\nQuite human too, they each
\nHave families they go home to.
\nI write for the unborn children
\nTaken from this life by abortion;
\nJesus says forbid not the
\nChildren to come to Me,
\nYet each week another 1000
\nBabies are slain needlessly!
\nAnd I write for the Christians
\nwho’ve died, fighting
\nThe good fight for Jesus Christ
\nEven now Christians are being
\nMartyred the whole world over,
\nGoing up to Glory as good soldiers
\nI write because the Lord tells
\nme to
\nThis is part of my cross, for
\nHim,this I do
\nJesus came to us preaching
\nSalvation, showing that through Him we can
\ngo to Heaven
\nHow I wish that the world was
\nhappy,all’s ok
\nBut until that day, I will continue to tell all
\nJesus is the only way
\nI write for those who don’t
\nyet know Christ
\nAs Lord and Savior,that He paid the price
\nJesus came,gave His life for us on Calvary
\nDied on a cross for you and me
\nThere’s lots that needs fixing
\nyes,I know
\nThat won’t get done unless
\nto God we stop saying no
\nUntil that day when all is
\nMade right,Jesus comes back
\nOn that charger of pure white
\nUntil we see Jesus Christ,
\nThis is why I write!<\/p>\n
