7 Kings 7 Heads — Scott Stanley<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The apostle Paul wrote to Timothy: All scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: <\/span>that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16-17).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

But this holy book has become an idol of men\u2019s dogma. The ancient city of Babylon stands as a symbol of man\u2019s pride and confusion in things pertaining to God.<\/span>
\nBabylon is that great city, or mindset, that has persecuted and slain those who were honest in heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this study, we will attempt to define man\u2019s adversity to love and his willingness to worship the beast within.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWater\u201d<\/strong> is a symbol of thought because words carry thought. So why, in Revelation 17:15<\/strong>, does the Lord say: The waters where the whore is sitting are people? <\/span><\/p>\n

He points to this <\/span>\u201coutward\u201d<\/strong> thing. Well, as we go through Revelation 17<\/strong>, we\u2019re going to discover that the whore sits on water and John has been shown a woman on a beast; hence, the \u201cwoman\u201d<\/strong> equals the <\/span>whore, but the \u201cbeast\u201d<\/strong> and waters equate. \u201cWaters\u201d<\/strong> are thought \u2013 so are \u201cbeasts.\u201d<\/strong> When you look at the heavens, the earth and the sea as levels of understanding \u2013 everything in the <\/span>heavens, everything in the earth, everything in the sea \u2013 represents \u201cthought.\u201d<\/strong> That\u2019s why birds, lions, bears, fish, the whale that consumed Jonah \u2013 those represent thought; those are thoughts <\/span>on those levels of understanding. That\u2019s why, when you go to Leviticus<\/strong> or you go to the Old Testament, and you read about the sacrifices, the Lord would demand a bullock here; a goat <\/span>here; a turtledove, and so on. Each thing represented a different thought, a different way of understanding \u2013 a different type of thought.<\/span><\/p>\n
