When we seem to be in a rush or nothing seems to be going like we planned, but yet we are saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, and sometimes we get all upset, and tensed and we tend to loose our grip of how we should act, to “Show Jesus ‘ Love”<\/span> <\/span>around other’s and for our own sake. It is important to Jesus and even ourselves that we show every bit of Love, Mercy, Grace, Kindness to other’s.<\/span><\/p>\n

You never know, just who sees, you acting like Christians are to, you just may lead someone to Jesus, that really needed that kindness, or that smile, or just a word of hope. I made this list several years ago, when I was doing Bible Research for a book I was going to write, but never got that far. So look at the list below, and see how we should act! They all are not in alphabetical Order, so bare with me \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

There is not one person who is perfect, and anyone who says they are, the Bible says they are a Liar! I’m not perfect at and by no means, and I never claim to be. Only Jesus Christ is the Most Perfect High God!!<\/span><\/p>\n

But there are ways the Bible clearly shows, “How We can Strive to Be.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The “Provided Reference Verses”<\/span> given are NOT in Order, and I am sorry for that. This one I believe was one of the longest ones I’ve done, except for 370 Sins in The Bible, so please bare with me and understand I am trying lol \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

To the true seeker who comes to God in belief, God gives an unconditional promise of acceptance. When you ask God with openness, honesty, and sincerity to save you from your sins, he will do it. This assurance should give you courage and hope.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

God is in control of heaven and earth. Because his word is true, we can have assurance of eternal life and victory over sin. By faith we can be certain of our eternal destiny with him.\u00a0Importance:<\/b>\u00a0Assurance of our relationship with God is a promise, but it is also a way of life. We build our confidence by trusting in God\u2019s Word and in Christ\u2019s provision for our sin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus watched him go and then said to his disciples,\u00a0\u201cHow hard it is for rich people to get into the Kingdom of God!\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0This man\u2019s wealth smoothed his life and gave him power and prestige. When Jesus told him to sell everything he owned, he was touching the man\u2019s very basis for security and identity. The man did not understand that he would be even more secure if he followed Jesus than he was with all his wealth.\u00a0Jesus does not ask all believers to sell everything they have, although this may be his will for some. He does ask us all, however, to get rid of anything that has become more important to us than God.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

If your basis for security has shifted from God to what you own, it would be better for you to get rid of those possessions.\u00a0 And be sure to take your shepherd\u2019s staff along so you can perform the miraculous signs I have shown you. Moses clung tightly to the shepherd\u2019s staff as he left for Egypt to face the greatest challenge of his life.<\/span><\/p>\n

The staff was his assurance of God\u2019s presence and power. When feeling uncertain, some people need something to stabilize and reassure them.\u00a0For assurance when facing great trials, God has given promises from his Word and examples from great heroes of faith.<\/b>\u00a0Any Christian may cling tightly to these.\u00a0The LORD guided them by a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire at night. That way they could travel whether it was day or night.<\/span>\u00a0God gave the Hebrews a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire so they would know day and night that God was with them on their journey to the Promised Land. What has he given us so that we can have the same assurance? The Bible-something the Israelites did not have. Look to God\u2019s Word for reassurance of his presence. As the Hebrews looked to the pillars of cloud and fire, we can look to God\u2019s Word day and night to know he is with us, helping us on our journey.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t worry about how to answer the charges against you, for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply! Jesus warned his followers of coming persecutions in which they would be betrayed by their family members and friends. Christians of every age have had to face this possibility. It is reassuring to know that even when we feel completely abandoned, the Holy Spirit stays with us. He will comfort us, protect us, and give us the words we need. This assurance can give us the courage and hope to stand firm for Christ no matter how difficult the situation. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also share his new life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Because of\u00a0Christ\u2019s death and resurrection<\/span><\/b>, his followers need never fear death. This frees us to fellowship with him and do his will. This will affect all our activities-work and worship, play and Bible study, quiet times and times of caring for others. When you know you need not fear death, you will experience renewed vigor in life.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Being Meek<\/span><\/p>\n

HOW DO I EXERCISE MEEKNESS IN MY LIFE?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

David, the powerful warrior and king, was truly meek, as demonstrated by his response to criticism.\u00a0It is better to be patient than powerful;<\/b>\u00a0it is better to have self-control than to conquer a city. Patience and self-control-elements of meekness-demonstrate true inner strength. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger. Answer anger with gentleness. Pray for the happiness of those who curse you.\u00a0Pray for those who hurt you.<\/b>\u00a0If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn the other cheek. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also.<\/span><\/p>\n

Praying for our enemies and doing good for them will help us learn meekness.<\/span><\/p>\n

PROMISES FROM GOD:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Those who are gentle and lowly will possess the land; they will live in prosperous security.\u00a0 God blesses those who are gentle and lowly, for the whole earth will belong to them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

CONFIDENCE FROM GOD MEANS A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON LIFE\u2019S PROBLEMS<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

The LORD said to Gideon,\u00a0\u201cYou have too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength. Therefore, tell the people,\u00a0\u2019Whoever is timid or afraid may leave and go home.\u2019 \u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Twenty-two thousand of them went home, leaving only ten thousand who were willing to fight. Self-sufficiency is an enemy when it causes us to believe we can always do what needs to be done in our own strength.<\/span><\/p>\n

To prevent this attitude among Gideon\u2019s soldiers, God reduced their number from thirty-two thousand to three hundred. With an army this small, there could be no doubt that victory was from God. The men could not take the credit. Like Gideon, we must recognize the danger of fighting in our own strength. We can be confident of victory only if we put our confidence in God and not ourselves. My message and my preaching were very plain. I did not use wise and persuasive speeches, but the Holy Spirit was powerful among you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul\u2019s confidence was not in his keen intellect or speaking ability but in the knowledge that the Holy Spirit was helping and guiding him. Paul is not denying the importance of study and preparation for preaching-he had a thorough education in the Scriptures. Effective preaching must combine studious preparation with the work of the Holy Spirit. Don\u2019t use Paul\u2019s statement as an excuse for not studying or preparing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t be afraid; you are more valuable to him than a whole flock of sparrows.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus said that God is aware of everything that happens even to sparrows, and you are far more valuable to him than they are. You are so valuable that God sent his only Son to die for you. Because God places such value on you, you need never fear personal threats or difficult trials. These can\u2019t shake God\u2019s love or dislodge his Spirit from within you. But this doesn\u2019t mean that God will take away all your troubles. The real test of value is how well something holds up under the wear, tear, and abuse of everyday life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Those who stand up for Christ in spite of their troubles truly have lasting value and will receive great rewards . The apostles entered the Temple about daybreak and immediately began teaching. When the high priest and his officials arrived, they convened the high council, along with all the elders of Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then they sent for the apostles to be brought for trial. The apostles had power to do miracles, great boldness in preaching, and God\u2019s presence in their lives; yet they were not free from hatred and persecution. They were arrested, put in jail, beaten, and slandered by community leaders. Faith in God does not make troubles disappear; it makes troubles appear less fearsome because it puts them in the right perspective. Don\u2019t expect everyone to react favorably when you share something as dynamic as your faith in Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some will be jealous, frightened, or threatened. Expect some negative reactions, and remember that you must be more concerned about serving God than the reactions of people.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

The church has a responsibility to care for the needs of all its members, especially the sick, the poor, and the widowed. Caring must go beyond good intentions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Importance:<\/b>\u00a0Caring for the family of believers demonstrates our Christ like attitude and exhibits genuine love to nonbelievers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u201cWhy are you so angry?\u201d<\/span>\u00a0the LORD asked him.\u00a0\u201cWhy do you look so dejected?\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The Bible does not say why God rejected Cain\u2019s offering. Perhaps Cain\u2019s attitude was improper, or perhaps his offering was not up to God\u2019s standards. God evaluates both our motives and the quality of what we offer him.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we give to God and others, we should have a joyful heart because of what we are able to give. We should not worry about how much we are giving up, for everything belongs to God in the first place. Instead, we should joyfully give to God our best in time, money, possessions, and talents.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cLook,\u201d they told him, \u201cyou are now old, and your sons are not like you. Give us a king like all the other nations have.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Israel was called to be a holy nation, separate from and unique among all others. The Israelites\u2019 motive in asking for a king was to be like the nations around them. This was in total opposition to God\u2019s original plan. It was not their desire for a king that was wrong but their reasons for wanting a king. Often we let others\u2019 values and actions dictate our attitudes and behavior. Have you ever made a wrong choice because you wanted to be like everyone else?<\/span><\/p>\n

Be careful that the values of your friends or\u00a0\u201cheroes\u201d<\/b>\u00a0don\u2019t pull you away from what God says is right. When God\u2019s people want to be like unbelievers, they are heading for spiritual disaster.\u00a0 After hearing his wife\u2019s story, Potiphar was furious! He took Joseph and threw him into the prison where the king\u2019s prisoners were held. But the LORD was with Joseph there, too, and he granted Joseph favor with the chief jailer. As a prisoner and slave, Joseph could have seen his situation as hopeless. Instead, he did his best with each small task given him. His diligence and positive attitude were soon noticed by the jail warden, who promoted him to prison administrator.<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you facing a seemingly hopeless predicament? At work, at home, or at school, follow Joseph\u2019s example by taking each small task and doing your best. Remember how God turned Joseph\u2019s situation around. He will see your efforts and can reverse even overwhelming odds.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Moses told the people,\u00a0\u201cDon\u2019t be afraid. Just stand where you are and watch the LORD rescue you. The Egyptians that you see today will never be seen again.\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The people were hostile and despairing, but Moses encouraged them to watch the wonderful way God would rescue them. Moses had a positive attitude! When it looked as if they were trapped, Moses called upon God to intervene.<\/span><\/p>\n

We may not be chased by an army, but we may still feel trapped. Instead of giving in to despair, we should adopt Moses\u2019 attitude to\u00a0\u201cstand firm\u201d<\/span>\u00a0and see the deliverance that the Lord will accomplish.<\/span><\/p>\n

The foreman replied,\u00a0\u201cShe is the young woman from Moab who came back with Naomi. She asked me this morning if she could gather grain behind the harvesters. She has been hard at work ever since, except for a few minutes\u2019 rest over there in the shelter.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ruth\u2019s task, though menial, tiring, and perhaps degrading, was done faithfully. What is your attitude when the task you have been given is not up to your true potential? The task at hand may be all you can do, or it may be the work God wants you to do. Or, as in Ruth\u2019s case, it may be a test of your character that can open up new doors of opportunity. Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus had.\u00a0 Often people excuse selfishness, pride, or evil by claiming their\u00a0\u201crights.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0They think, I can cheat on this test; after all, I deserve to pass this class, or I can spend all this money on myself-I worked for it, or I can get an abortion; I have a right to control my own body.<\/span><\/p>\n

But as believers, we should have a different attitude; one that enables us to lay aside our rights in order to serve others.<\/span>\u00a0If we say we follow Christ, we must live as he lived. We should develop his attitude of humility as we serve, even when we are not likely to get recognition for our efforts. Are you selfishly clinging to your rights, or are you willing to serve?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

As a perfect human, Jesus showed tender sympathy to the poor, the despised, the hurt, and the sinful. No one was rejected or ignored by him. Importance: Jesus is more than a good teacher; he cares for you. Because of his deep love for you, he can satisfy your needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus ignored their comments and said to Jairus,\u00a0<\/span>\u201cDon\u2019t be afraid. Just trust me.\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Jesus not only demonstrated great power; he also showed tremendous compassion. Jesus\u2019 power over nature, evil spirits, and death was motivated by compassion-for a demon-possessed man who lived among tombs, for a diseased woman, and for the family of a dead girl. The rabbis of the day considered such people unclean. Polite society avoided them. But Jesus reached out and helped anyone in need. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,\u00a0<\/span>\u201cMy son, your sins are forgiven.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The paralytic\u2019s need moved his friends to action, and they brought him to Jesus. When you recognize someone\u2019s need, do you act? Many people have physical and spiritual needs you can meet, either by yourself or with others who are also concerned. Human need moved these four men; let it also move you to compassionate action. One should be kind to a fainting friend, but you have accused me without the slightest fear of the Almighty.\u00a0 Job said that Eliphaz\u2019s advice was like eating the tasteless white of an egg. When people are going through severe trials, ill-advised counsel is distasteful. They may listen politely, but inside they are upset. Be slow to give advice to those who are hurting.<\/span><\/p>\n

They often need compassion more than they need advice. The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Jeremiah saw one ray of hope in all the sin and sorrow surrounding him:\u00a0\u201cThe unfailing love of the Lord never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction.\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0God willingly responds with help when we ask. Perhaps there is some sin in your life that you thought God would not forgive.\u00a0God\u2019s steadfast love and mercy are greater than any sin, and he promises forgiveness.<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

King Solomon offered a sacrifice of 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep. And so the king and all the people dedicated the Temple of God. The temple was dedicated to God, and Solomon and the people prepared to worship him. Dedication means setting apart a place, an object, or a person for an exclusive purpose. The purpose of this dedication was to set apart the temple as a special place to worship God.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, our bodies are God\u2019s temple Solomon\u2019s dedication of the temple shows us that we should dedicate ourselves to carry out God\u2019s special purpose When you obey me you should say,\u00a0\u201cWe are not worthy of praise. We are servants who have simply done our duty.\u201d<\/span><\/b>\u00a0If we have obeyed God, we have only done our duty.<\/span><\/p>\n

We should regard it as a privilege. Do you sometimes feel that you deserve extra credit for serving God? Remember, obedience is not something extra we do; it is our duty. Jesus is not saying that our service is meaningless or useless, nor is he doing away with rewards. He is attacking unwarranted self-esteem and spiritual pride. Jesus told him,\u00a0\u201cAnyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.\u201d<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

What does Jesus want from us? Total dedication, not halfhearted commitment. We can\u2019t pick and choose among Jesus\u2019 ideas and follow him selectively; we have to accept the cross along with the crown, judgment as well as mercy. We must count the cost and be willing to abandon everything else that has given us security. With our focus on Jesus, we should allow nothing to distract us from the manner of living that he calls good and true.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Diligence<\/span><\/td>\n\n

If our faith is real, it will be evident in our godly behavior. If people are diligent in Christian growth, they won\u2019t backslide or be deceived by false teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Importance:<\/b>\u00a0Growth is essential. It begins with faith and culminates in love for others. To keep growing we need to know God, keep on following him, and remember what he taught us. We must remain diligent in faithful obedience and Christian growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n
