\"To<\/span>“How Do I Practice Godliness”<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Knowing God leads to godliness wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To be as much like God as possible, to seek to build our character traits as much like the character of God-this is godliness.<\/span><\/p>\n

But godliness is more than being like God. It is practicing a closer walk with God. As goodness is more than the absence of badness, so godliness is more than the absence of worldliness, materialism, hedonism, and other \u201cisms.\u201d<\/b> Godliness is the practice of the presence of God in all we are and all we do.<\/span><\/p>\n

HOW DO I PRACTICE GODLINESS?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1 Timothy 6:3<\/b> . . . These are the sound, wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, and they are the foundation for a godly life.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 Peter 1:5-9<\/b> . . . Knowing God . . . leads to godliness. When we build on the foundation of God\u2019s Word and yield our ways to God\u2019s ways, we allow God to produce in us his good fruits of godliness.<\/span><\/p>\n

ROMANS 1:18<\/b>…….For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;<\/span><\/p>\n

ROMANS 11:26<\/b>……And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:<\/span><\/p>\n

1 TIMOTHY 2:2<\/b>……For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all GODLINESS<\/b> and honesty.<\/span><\/p>\n

1 TIMOTHY 2:10<\/b>……..But (which becometh women professing GODLINESS<\/b>) with good works.<\/span><\/p>\n

1 TIMOTHY 3:16<\/b>……..And without controversy great is the mystery of GODLINESS<\/b>: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.<\/span><\/p>\n

1TIMOTHY\u00a0 4:7<\/b>…….But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto GODLINESS<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

1TIMOTHY\u00a0 4:8<\/b>……For bodily exercise profiteth little: but GODLINESS<\/b> is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.<\/span><\/p>\n

1TIMOTHY\u00a0 6:3<\/b>……If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to GODLINESS<\/b>;<\/span><\/p>\n

1TIMOTHY\u00a0 6:5<\/b>……Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is GODLINESS<\/b>: from such withdraw thyself.<\/span><\/p>\n

1TIMOTHY<\/b> \u00a06:6<\/b>……But GODLINESS<\/b> with contentment is great gain.<\/span><\/p>\n

1TIMOTHY<\/b> \u00a06:11<\/b>….But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, GODLINESS<\/b>, faith, love, patience, meekness.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 TIMOTHY\u00a0 2:16<\/b>…..But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 TIMOTHY\u00a0 3:5<\/b>……Having a form of GODLINESS<\/b>, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.<\/span><\/p>\n

TITUS 1:1<\/b>……Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after GODLINESS<\/b>;<\/span><\/p>\n

TITUS 2:12<\/b>…..Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;<\/span><\/p>\n

2 PETER 1:3<\/b>……According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and GODLINESS<\/b>, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:<\/span><\/p>\n

2 PETER 1:6<\/b>…..And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience GODLINESS<\/b>;<\/span><\/p>\n

2 PETER 1:7<\/b>…..And to GODLINESS<\/b> brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.<\/span><\/p>\n

2 PETER 3:11<\/b>…..Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and GODLINESS<\/b>,<\/span><\/p>\n
