\nAnyone who actually wants to hear God\u2019s voice can sometimes misinterpret the Voice of God! We all can say we hear His Voice but do we?<\/p>\n

Did you know that a horse is very attentive to it\u2019s master\u2019s voice, a horse has one ear to listen and watch for warnings, however, the other ear the horse listens to it\u2019s master\u2019s voice. The way we hear God\u2019s voice is similar.<\/p>\n

Instead of hearing and looking in the air, the winds, earthquakes, fire Elijah was scared, because of his circumstances had scared him he needed to hear from God, and he had a ringing ear toward God\u2019s voice, even though his circumstances could\u2019ve caused him not to, but he did.<\/p>\n

Elijah went and hid in a cave and prayed for God to let him die.<\/p>\n

Even though Elijah was praying for God to let him die, God taught him a wonderful lesson about how to know His Voice. Elijah waited on God, He demonstrated His power through the winds, earthquakes and fire. But, God was not in those things, but instead He Spoke to him in a \u201cSTILL SMALL VOICE\u201d<\/b> ! 1 Kings 19:12<\/b>, gave instructions for Elijah\u2019s next mission. Elijah obeyed, God\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n

This story of Elijah shows us how to hear God\u2019s Voice and when we need direction. God, didn\u2019t show him flashy examples of power \u2013\u2013 even though God already showed him His power. God spoke to His prophet in a \u201cSTILL SMALL VOICE\u201d<\/b> \u2013\u2013\u2013 and God still wishes to communicate to His children the same way as back then.<\/p>\n

His Voice is a still small whisper, deep within our spirits, Jesus explained that some people do not hear the voice of God because they don\u2019t believe in Him, they do not Have His Word in their hearts \u2013\u2013 John 5:37<\/b>.<\/p>\n

He taught us, that we must be BORN again in Order to hear His Voice, you must be born anew!<\/p>\n

The winds blows (breathes) where it wills, and though you hear it\u2019s sound, yet you neither know where it comes from, nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit. John 3:7-8<\/b><\/p>\n

When we become born again, we are made alive in our spirits to be sensitive to the voice of God. We can hear His Whisper even though we cannot tell where it is coming from.<\/p>\n

Our ears become \u201cspiritually tuned in\u201d<\/b> to hear His Voice of God Our Father Who Art In Heaven, our Master\u2019s Voice.<\/p>\n

He whispers to convict and correct and direct us by a still small voice that is deep within our hearts.<\/p>\n

Ways of His Voice, His Holy Spirit are gentle, loving and kind, most of the time He speaks to us as He did Elijah, a \u201cStill SMALL VOICE.\u201d<\/b> 1 Kings 19:12<\/b><\/p>\n

Having A Spiritual Gift in 1 Kings<\/b> , there are times I wonder when God will give me my spiritual gift. But, I know it is more to it and of being a Christian than just having a spiritual gift. The Holy Spirit helps us grow and mature in Christ. Hearing God\u2019s Voice is one of the one\u2019s I want so much to understand and hear. God helps our lives grow, He helps out relationships, with Him.<\/p>\n

Ask God to give you someone who can mentor you like Elijah and allow you to hear His Voice. Show your faithful support and loyalty to them. Is, God calling you, is He calling you by name, are you Listening<\/b>?<\/span><\/p>\n
