He made himself nothing; He took the humble position of a slave. . .<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">\u00a0And in human form He obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal\u2019s death on a cross.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">An attitude of humility and of serving other people will help us to be more like Christ.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"c16\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Philippians 4:4-6 . . .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again-rejoice! . . .<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Don\u2019t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">An attitude of faith in God has many positive aspects: joy in every circumstance, dependence on God in prayer rather than worrying, and thankfulness-no matter what.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c17\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span class=\"c7\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">WHAT KIND OF ATTITUDE IS DISPLEASING TO GOD?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c16\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Genesis 4:6-7 . . .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span class=\"c18\">\u201cWhy are you so angry?\u201d<\/span> the Lord asked him. <span class=\"c18\">\u201cWhy do you look so dejected?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">You will be accepted if you respond in the right way. But if you refuse to respond correctly, then watch out!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Sin is waiting to attack and destroy you, and you must subdue it. Responding with resentment to God\u2019s discipline can lead us into sin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c16\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Numbers 21:5 . . .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span class=\"c18\">\u201cWhy have you brought us out of Egypt to die here in the wilderness?\u201d<\/span> they complained. <span class=\"c18\">\u201cThere is nothing to eat here and nothing to drink. And we hate this wretched manna!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c16\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Complaining shows a lack of appreciation for what God has given us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c16\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Proverbs 18:12 . . .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Haughtiness goes before destruction. Relying on our own greatness rather than God\u2019s greatness leads to self-destruction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c17\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong><span class=\"c7\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">WHAT IS THE KEY TO HAVING A GOOD ATTITUDE?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c16\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Romans 8:6 . . .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">If your sinful nature controls your mind, there is death. But if the Holy Spirit controls your mind, there is life and peace. Letting God\u2019s Holy Spirit control our minds, rather than letting our sinful nature control it, is the key to having a good attitude.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"c16\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Romans 12:2 . . .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"c12\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Don\u2019t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
