\n<\/b> We are engaged in a spiritual battle\u2014all believers find themselves subject to Satan\u2019s attacks because they are no longer on Satan\u2019s side. Thus, Paul tells us to use every piece of God\u2019s armor to resist Satan\u2019s attacks and to stand true to God in the midst of those attacks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Satan tries to attack me everyday, whether it be through how my family acts and treats other’s or something never going the way it should, I keep dropping things, or the html coding does not do what I want it to do, or something. He always wants to attack us where he can hit us the best… so let’s see just how we can stop his big over-grown nose out of our lives and other’s we love and care about.<\/span><\/p>\n

Satan fights with lies, and sometimes his lies sound like truth; but only believers have God\u2019s truth, which can defeat Satan\u2019s lies.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Body armor<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Righteousness<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Satan often attacks our heart\u2014the seat of our emotions, self-worth, and trust. God\u2019s righteousness is the body armor that protects our heart and ensures his approval. He approves of us because he loves us and sent his Son to die for us.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Readiness to spread the Good News<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Satan wants us to think that telling others the Good News is a worthless and hopeless task\u2014the size of the task is too big and the negative responses are too much to handle. But the shoes God gives us are the motivation to continue to proclaim the true peace that is available in God\u2014news everyone needs to hear.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Shield<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Faith<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

What we see are Satan\u2019s attacks in the form of insults, setbacks, and temptations. But the shield of faith protects us from Satan\u2019s fiery arrows. With God\u2019s perspective, we can see beyond our circumstances and know that ultimate victory is ours.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Satan wants to make us doubt God, Jesus, and our salvation. The helmet protects our mind from doubting God\u2019s saving work for us.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\u00a0<\/td>\n\u00a0<\/td>\n\u00a0<\/td>\n\u00a0<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Sword<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Word of God<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

The sword is the only weapon of offense in this list of armor. There are times when we need to take the offensive against Satan. When we are tempted, we need to trust in the truth of God\u2019s Word<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
