Hearing God’s Voice<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nExodus 2<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\nThere are many times I feel I hear from God, but do I?<\/span><\/p>\n

People say, they hear from God, but sometimes wonder, because they all not living on holy ground. Exodus says, (Chapter 3<\/b>) To hear clearly from God, you need to be willing to live on holy ground (life of purity<\/b>) keeping our minds, thoughts, actions, in line with Gods word.<\/p>\n

Jesus says:<\/b> the pure in heart will see God (Matthew 5:8<\/b>)<\/span><\/p>\n

I do my best to strive to do right and to live by God’s Word. And, many people think that even when they are living in sin, and doing things wrong, like cursing, drinking to get get drunk, and lying, stealing, and sleeping around and not being married, etc. that they hear from God.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe they do, and what they may be hearing or thinking they hear is a warning to them about if they do not start living right, that that is what is going to happen to them, and they will not make it to Heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n

I allot of times, I hear from certain people that they hear from God and they have seen God and they have seen Jesus, I am a little confused about this one, because Jesus is Holy, and God the Father is Holy, so how can this be? God told me, God told me this about, God told me that about, God told me so and so…….but did He, really?<\/span><\/p>\n

I know I am not perfect, but I am striving to be, I do not curse, I do not sleep around I am married of 25 yrs. I do not drink to get drunk, I do not steal, I do not kill or anything so why is it that when I ask to see an angel or Jesus’ face I do not get to, but some other’s do when they are not living or trying to live on Holy ground?<\/span><\/p>\n

Have I misinterpreted or have I been delusional? No, I feel in my heart God Talks to me and Jesus to, when we hear a still small voice and it’s calm and soft we can know we are hearing from God.<\/span><\/p>\n

(CBN.COM) The Bible says that we can tell if someone is a prophet by seeing if what he has said comes to pass (see Deuteronomy 18:22<\/b>). That is a very pragmatic test, and it works.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There is no shortcut to spiritual understanding. You have to learn to walk with God and to know His voice; otherwise, you will mistake your own voice for His. You even may be fooled by the voice of Satan, or you may hear the clamoring voice of the world. It is so easy to get these voices mixed up. Usually, God speaks to us in a still, small, quiet voice (see I Kings 19:11-13<\/b>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It takes time, prayer, and waiting on God to hear His voice.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Nor does God scatter His pearls around recklessly. He said, “You will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul”<\/b> ( Deuteronomy 4:29<\/b>). God does not reveal Himself to every casual onlooker who would take sacred things and play with them like toys. I have known some adults who treated the gifts of God as if they were just little baubles to play with. To please God and to receive counsel from Him, people must be both determined and serious.<\/p>\n

How do we succeed in hearing God’s voice? By spending time with God. The ultimate is not merely to get direction from God; the ultimate is to know God. God can make it difficult for us to get into His presence because He wants to see if we truly will expend the spiritual energy and exercise necessary to do so. Will we stop certain sins? Will we get rid of things that hinder us? Will we truly seek Him with all of our hearts?<\/p>\n

Some people only want a quick fix — “God, tell me how to make money on this business deal, please. See You next time!”<\/b> And then that is the end of it. But God wants to be treated with reverence and deference that His nature warrants. He wants to change us, not merely give us quick answers to difficult problems. We will never be changed unless we come into His presence, spend time with Him, and allow Him to purify us from our sinful nature. (end CBN.COM)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We are to test the spirits.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When I was told certain things, I was just so bothered by it, because these people I knew wasn’t fully living in God’s Way…….so I was talking to a friend on Facebook and she reminded me that we are to test the spirits.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
