“<\/span><\/i>Psalm 119<\/span>“<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I read this whole chapter before placing it here. I feel like some really need to know this chapter, as it contains a way for us to be better in our wisdom area’s in our lives. Something we can also hand down to Our families and Our children, or just friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

1<\/b> Happy are people of integrity, who follow the law of the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n

2<\/b> Happy are those who obey his decrees and search for him with all their hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n

3<\/b> They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths.<\/span><\/p>\n

4<\/b> You have charged us to keep your commandments carefully.<\/span><\/p>\n

5<\/b> Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your principles!<\/span><\/p>\n

6<\/b> Then I will not be disgraced when I compare my life with your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

7<\/b> When I learn your righteous laws, I will thank you by living as I should!<\/span><\/p>\n

8<\/b> I will obey your principles. Please don\u2019t give up on me!<\/span><\/p>\n

9<\/b> How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word and following its rules.<\/span><\/p>\n

10<\/b> I have tried my best to find you\u2014 don\u2019t let me wander from your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

11<\/b> I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.<\/span><\/p>\n

12<\/b> Blessed are you, O Lord; teach me your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

13<\/b> I have recited aloud all the laws you have given us.<\/span><\/p>\n

14<\/b> I have rejoiced in your decrees as much as in riches.<\/span><\/p>\n

15<\/b> I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

16<\/b> I will delight in your principles and not forget your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

17<\/b> Be good to your servant, that I may live and obey your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

18<\/b> Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

19<\/b> I am but a foreigner here on earth; I need the guidance of your commands. Don\u2019t hide them from me!<\/span><\/p>\n

20<\/b> I am overwhelmed continually with a desire for your laws.<\/span><\/p>\n

21<\/b> You rebuke those cursed proud ones who wander from your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

22<\/b> Don\u2019t let them scorn and insult me, for I have obeyed your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

23<\/b> Even princes sit and speak against me, but I will meditate on your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

24<\/b> Your decrees please me; they give me wise advice.<\/span><\/p>\n

25<\/b> I lie in the dust, completely discouraged; revive me by your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

26<\/b> I told you my plans, and you answered. Now teach me your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

27<\/b> Help me understand the meaning of your commandments, and I will meditate on your wonderful miracles.<\/span><\/p>\n

28<\/b> I weep with grief; encourage me by your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

29<\/b> Keep me from lying to myself; give me the privilege of knowing your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

30<\/b> I have chosen to be faithful; I have determined to live by your laws.<\/span><\/p>\n

31<\/b> I cling to your decrees. Lord, don\u2019t let me be put to shame!<\/span><\/p>\n

32<\/b> If you will help me, I will run to follow your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

33<\/b> Teach me, O Lord, to follow every one of your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

34<\/b> Give me understanding and I will obey your law; I will put it into practice with all my heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

35<\/b> Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found.<\/span><\/p>\n

36<\/b> Give me an eagerness for your decrees; do not inflict me with love for money!<\/span><\/p>\n

37<\/b> Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life through your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

38<\/b> Reassure me of your promise, which is for those who honor you.<\/span><\/p>\n

39<\/b> Help me abandon my shameful ways; your laws are all I want in life.<\/span><\/p>\n

40<\/b> I long to obey your commandments! Renew my life with your goodness.<\/span><\/p>\n

41<\/b> Lord, give to me your unfailing love, the salvation that you promised me.<\/span><\/p>\n

42<\/b> Then I will have an answer for those who taunt me, for I trust in your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

43<\/b> Do not snatch your word of truth from me, for my only hope is in your laws.<\/span><\/p>\n

44<\/b> I will keep on obeying your law forever and forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

45<\/b> I will walk in freedom, for I have devoted myself to your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

46<\/b> I will speak to kings about your decrees, and I will not be ashamed.<\/span><\/p>\n

47<\/b> How I delight in your commands! How I love them!<\/span><\/p>\n

48<\/b> I honor and love your commands. I meditate on your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

49<\/b> Remember your promise to me, for it is my only hope.<\/span><\/p>\n

50<\/b> Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles.<\/span><\/p>\n

51<\/b> The proud hold me in utter contempt, but I do not turn away from your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

52<\/b> I meditate on your age-old laws; O Lord, they comfort me.<\/span><\/p>\n

53<\/b> I am furious with the wicked, those who reject your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

54<\/b> Your principles have been the music of my life throughout the years of my pilgrimage.<\/span><\/p>\n

55<\/b> I reflect at night on who you are, O Lord, and I obey your law because of this.<\/span><\/p>\n

56<\/b> This is my happy way of life: obeying your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

57<\/b> Lord, you are mine! I promise to obey your words!<\/span><\/p>\n

58<\/b> With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful just as you promised.<\/span><\/p>\n

59<\/b> I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow your statutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

60<\/b> I will hurry, without lingering, to obey your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

61<\/b> Evil people try to drag me into sin, but I am firmly anchored to your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

62<\/b> At midnight I rise to thank you for your just laws.<\/span><\/p>\n

63<\/b> Anyone who fears you is my friend\u2014 anyone who obeys your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

64<\/b> O Lord, the earth is full of your unfailing love; teach me your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

65<\/b> You have done many good things for me, Lord, just as you promised.<\/span><\/p>\n

66<\/b> I believe in your commands; now teach me good judgment and knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

67<\/b> I used to wander off until you disciplined me; but now I closely follow your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

68<\/b> You are good and do only good; teach me your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

69<\/b> Arrogant people have made up lies about me, but in truth I obey your commandments with all my heart.<\/span><\/p>\n

70<\/b> Their hearts are dull and stupid, but I delight in your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

71<\/b> The suffering you sent was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

72<\/b> Your law is more valuable to me than millions in gold and silver!<\/span><\/p>\n

73<\/b> You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

74<\/b> May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

75<\/b> I know, O Lord, that your decisions are fair; you disciplined me because I needed it.<\/span><\/p>\n

76<\/b> Now let your unfailing love comfort me, just as you promised me, your servant.<\/span><\/p>\n

77<\/b> Surround me with your tender mercies so I may live, for your law is my delight.<\/span><\/p>\n

78<\/b> Bring disgrace upon the arrogant people who lied about me; meanwhile, I will concentrate on your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

79<\/b> Let me be reconciled with all who fear you and know your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

80<\/b> May I be blameless in keeping your principles; then I will never have to be ashamed.<\/span><\/p>\n

81<\/b> I faint with longing for your salvation; but I have put my hope in your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

82<\/b> My eyes are straining to see your promises come true. When will you comfort me?<\/span><\/p>\n

83<\/b> I am shriveled like a wineskin in the smoke, exhausted with waiting. But I cling to your principles and obey them.<\/span><\/p>\n

84<\/b> How long must I wait? When will you punish those who persecute me?<\/span><\/p>\n

85<\/b> These arrogant people who hate your law have dug deep pits for me to fall into.<\/span><\/p>\n

86<\/b> All your commands are trustworthy. Protect me from those who hunt me down without cause.<\/span><\/p>\n

87<\/b> They almost finished me off, but I refused to abandon your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

88<\/b> In your unfailing love, spare my life; then I can continue to obey your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

89<\/b> Forever, O Lord, your word stands firm in heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n

90<\/b> Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created.<\/span><\/p>\n

91<\/b> Your laws remain true today, for everything serves your plans.<\/span><\/p>\n

92<\/b> If your law hadn\u2019t sustained me with joy, I would have died in my misery.<\/span><\/p>\n

93<\/b> I will never forget your commandments, for you have used them to restore my joy and health.<\/span><\/p>\n

94<\/b> I am yours; save me! For I have applied myself to obey your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

95<\/b> Though the wicked hide along the way to kill me, I will quietly keep my mind on your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

96<\/b> Even perfection has its limits, but your commands have no limit.<\/span><\/p>\n

97<\/b> Oh, how I love your law! I think about it all day long.<\/span><\/p>\n

98<\/b> Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for your commands are my constant guide.<\/span><\/p>\n

99<\/b> Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

100<\/b> I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

101<\/b> I have refused to walk on any path of evil, that I may remain obedient to your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

102<\/b> I haven\u2019t turned away from your laws, for you have taught me well.<\/span><\/p>\n

103<\/b> How sweet are your words to my taste; they are sweeter than honey.<\/span><\/p>\n

104<\/b> Your commandments give me understanding; no wonder I hate every false way of life.<\/span><\/p>\n

105<\/b> Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.<\/span><\/p>\n

106<\/b> I\u2019ve promised it once, and I\u2019ll promise again: I will obey your wonderful laws.<\/span><\/p>\n

107<\/b> I have suffered much, O Lord; restore my life again, just as you promised.<\/span><\/p>\n

108<\/b> Lord, accept my grateful thanks and teach me your laws.<\/span><\/p>\n

109<\/b> My life constantly hangs in the balance, but I will not stop obeying your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

110<\/b> The wicked have set their traps for me along your path, but I will not turn from your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

111<\/b> Your decrees are my treasure; they are truly my heart\u2019s delight.<\/span><\/p>\n

112<\/b> I am determined to keep your principles, even forever, to the very end.<\/span><\/p>\n

113<\/b> I hate those who are undecided about you, but my choice is clear\u2014I love your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

114<\/b> You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my only source of hope.<\/span><\/p>\n

115<\/b> Get out of my life, you evil-minded people, for I intend to obey the commands of my God.<\/span><\/p>\n

116<\/b> Lord, sustain me as you promised, that I may live! Do not let my hope be crushed.<\/span><\/p>\n

117<\/b> Sustain me, and I will be saved; then I will meditate on your principles continually.<\/span><\/p>\n

118<\/b> But you have rejected all who stray from your principles. They are only fooling themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

119<\/b> All the wicked of the earth are the scum you skim off; no wonder I love to obey your decrees!<\/span><\/p>\n

120<\/b> I tremble in fear of you; I fear your judgments.<\/span><\/p>\n

121<\/b> Don\u2019t leave me to the mercy of my enemies, for I have done what is just and right.<\/span><\/p>\n

122<\/b> Please guarantee a blessing for me. Don\u2019t let those who are arrogant oppress me!<\/span><\/p>\n

123<\/b> My eyes strain to see your deliverance, to see the truth of your promise fulfilled.<\/span><\/p>\n

124<\/b> I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

125<\/b> Give discernment to me, your servant; then I will understand your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

126<\/b> Lord, it is time for you to act, for these evil people have broken your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

127<\/b> Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold.<\/span><\/p>\n

128<\/b> Truly, each of your commandments is right. That is why I hate every false way.<\/span><\/p>\n

129<\/b> Your decrees are wonderful. No wonder I obey them!<\/span><\/p>\n

130<\/b> As your words are taught, they give light; even the simple can understand them.<\/span><\/p>\n

131<\/b> I open my mouth, panting expectantly, longing for your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

132<\/b> Come and show me your mercy, as you do for all who love your name.<\/span><\/p>\n

133<\/b> Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by any evil.<\/span><\/p>\n

134<\/b> Rescue me from the oppression of evil people; then I can obey your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

135<\/b> Look down on me with love; teach me all your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

136<\/b> Rivers of tears gush from my eyes because people disobey your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

137<\/b> O Lord, you are righteous, and your decisions are fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

138<\/b> Your decrees are perfect; they are entirely worthy of our trust.<\/span><\/p>\n

139<\/b> I am overwhelmed with rage, for my enemies have disregarded your words.<\/span><\/p>\n

140<\/b> Your promises have been thoroughly tested; that is why I love them so much.<\/span><\/p>\n

141<\/b> I am insignificant and despised, but I don\u2019t forget your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

142<\/b> Your justice is eternal, and your law is perfectly true.<\/span><\/p>\n

143<\/b> As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

144<\/b> Your decrees are always fair; help me to understand them, that I may live.<\/span><\/p>\n

145<\/b> I pray with all my heart; answer me, Lord! I will obey your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

146<\/b> I cry out to you; save me, that I may obey your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

147<\/b> I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in your words.<\/span><\/p>\n

148<\/b> I stay awake through the night, thinking about your promise.<\/span><\/p>\n

149<\/b> In your faithful love, O Lord, hear my cry; in your justice, save my life.<\/span><\/p>\n

150<\/b> Those lawless people are coming near to attack me; they live far from your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

151<\/b> But you are near, O Lord, and all your commands are true.<\/span><\/p>\n

152<\/b> I have known from my earliest days that your decrees never change.<\/span><\/p>\n

153<\/b> Look down upon my sorrows and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

154<\/b> Argue my case; take my side! Protect my life as you promised.<\/span><\/p>\n

155<\/b> The wicked are far from salvation, for they do not bother with your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

156<\/b> Lord, how great is your mercy; in your justice, give me back my life.<\/span><\/p>\n

157<\/b> Many persecute and trouble me, yet I have not swerved from your decrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

158<\/b> I hate these traitors because they care nothing for your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

159<\/b> See how I love your commandments, Lord. Give back my life because of your unfailing love.<\/span><\/p>\n

160<\/b> All your words are true; all your just laws will stand forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

161<\/b> Powerful people harass me without cause, but my heart trembles only at your word.<\/span><\/p>\n

162<\/b> I rejoice in your word like one who finds a great treasure.<\/span><\/p>\n

163<\/b> I hate and abhor all falsehood, but I love your law.<\/span><\/p>\n

164<\/b> I will praise you seven times a day because all your laws are just.<\/span><\/p>\n

165<\/b> Those who love your law have great peace and do not stumble.<\/span><\/p>\n

166<\/b> I long for your salvation, Lord, so I have obeyed your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n

167<\/b> I have obeyed your decrees, and I love them very much.<\/span><\/p>\n

168<\/b> Yes, I obey your commandments and decrees, because you know everything I do.<\/span><\/p>\n

169<\/b> O Lord, listen to my cry; give me the discerning mind you promised.<\/span><\/p>\n

170<\/b> Listen to my prayer; rescue me as you promised.<\/span><\/p>\n

171<\/b> Let my lips burst forth with praise, for you have taught me your principles.<\/span><\/p>\n

172<\/b> Let my tongue sing about your word, for all your commands are right.<\/span><\/p>\n

173<\/b> Stand ready to help me, for I have chosen to follow your commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

174<\/b> O Lord, I have longed for your salvation, and your law is my delight.<\/span><\/p>\n

175<\/b> Let me live so I can praise you, and may your laws sustain me.<\/span><\/p>\n

176<\/b> I have wandered away like a lost sheep; come and find me, for I have not forgotten your commands.<\/span><\/p>\n
